Puppies came all night long by candle light!!!! Phu Quoc Ridgeback

WELL!
I was on Skype with Judy Baxter and my daughter Elissa bringing in the new puppies
and a giant storm hit the island!
Total power outage the rest of the night! It was fun by candle light!
You should have seen me last night trying to COBRA PROOF the house!!! Afraid the smell of the pups would attract jungle visitors!!!!!! I think I burned enough incense to cover any smells for miles. I am feeling a bit like and Indian with a dot!
2 were still born:(. Me, in the giant storm, trying to take them far into the jungle at 4 am. (still born ones I mean) 6 have arrived healthy :) 4 black with little bits of white and 2 little cows;) (white with black spots). Not something you see very often on this island,a white dog. In fact, I have never seen one accept ... Hmmmmm...it must have been that one random Dalmatian I have seen making the rounds on the beach!!! The river is running so full, it sounds like I am on the deck of a cruise ship!!!!!!! Full of puppies!!!
I am exhausted. I fired up the Thai grill and cooked eggs and toast for us all while waiting for electricity to return on. The sun is shining, the electric is on, it is 7:39 am...oh my gosh...is she having another one?????

My day of Animals!
A butterfly head butted me today!I had to swerve past an Iguana crossing the road as well as a GIANT black scorpion!
The monkeys must have been busy in the trees today...I didn't have to swerve around them.
However, our monkey at the Magic Garden cleaned my hair out and cuddled me afterwards...
such a lovely little monkey!
Sleeping with the Pixies tonight!!!!

Dreams and Messages

My sweet husband came up the stairs late last night in my dreams...
announcing that he was so overloaded with luggage that we had to get in the car and go to the airport and retrieve his things. (note:we have no car or airport on the island )
He came in the middle of the might because he was late from Bangkok. It was mixed in the middle of other visions, but physically real, I felt the house wobble as he came up the stairs.
I got up out of bed and went to assist him. Literally!
I woke up to read this message from him in the AM...
"Almost going home...OMG...I never spend this long packing my stuff. Thank God I didn't wait till the last moment tomorrow morning. I had to McGuyver my way out of it to have it fit in my regular luggage !
Anyway I was thinking, since I arrive very early in the morning in Bangkok why I wouldn't be productive and get the new ceiling fans, lights, decorations for new entrance and toilet and a couple of other things. If my presence on the island is not immediately required it makes sense for me to make myself useful in Bangkok.
I'm going to catch a couple of hrs of sleep...
Love, Matthijs"
Manifesting My World
I stared at this pic for years and wished. Now I am here.
Now...I want to travel the whole world with ease...the earth is my neighborhood. I am free to explore her and all those who dwell in her radiance.
This looks so very much like where I live right now. In the forest by the river. I spent the day lying in the water as my son floated up and down on his boggie board. I am living in the place of my dreams. WE MANIFEST!!!!! Manifest beauty, with love and light all around.

I was cooking homemade pizza sauce tonight in my wok and fire burning grill, whistling and singing along, and boom!!! A Troll stole my garlic right off the counter!!! Could have been a fairy or and elf...even maybe a mouse...but I am sticking to the troll story...even the dog noticed, barked and was lookin' in one corner of the porch for the thief for about 30 min!!!! Bummer!!!! It was not the same without the garlic!!!!!!!
I think I'll go troll hunting today with a giant string of garlic and make a new friend.;)

"My Cooking Muse" ;)

I never had the affinity for cooking in America, but I have discovered that the "fire inside" just needed the right muse! I always ache for things done in the "old ways", love rustic things so much. I went to the store to buy a "western" toaster oven and found my self instead at the checkout counter with this odd contraption . It is a small clay BBQ used in Thai cooking. The best part was, it was only 90 baht and way rustic to boot. The bowl and basket are used for steaming sticky fice.
So far, so good!
I am happy creating with it, and Skye is happy eating it!!!!
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!
Skye and I even figured out how to make our own spaghetti sauce and little toastie pizza's!
The chicken I cooked on it was AMAZING!
I CAN COOK!!!!!! I CAN COOK!!!! I CAN COOK!!!!!!
